    Outlaw Model 975 Surround Processor

    Hmmm...a quality (albeit a bit bare-bones) surround processor for just $550? Just ran across this in Home Theater magazine, and it looks very interesting. I don't have any experience with Outlaw...what do others think of this?

      Pretty sure that is based on the Emotiva UMC-200. Wouldn't be the first time that Outlaw used Emotiva as an OEM either.

          My perception of Outlaw is generalized, that it is a good product that performs well. May not be refined as higher-end items. Of course, I have not ever owned an Outlaw product myself. But if I had a solution where I was looking for good bang-for-your-buck, and not getting into high end performance, I personally wouldn't hesitate to use Outlaw.

              Hi, everyone.

              As I've mentioned in the DIY thread, I will be building a pair of Statement II's. Plan on driving them with an outlaw 975/ 5000 combo.
              After speaking with Outlaw Audio, they recommend using a marantz pre/pro due to the 975 not having USB or aux for an ipod(for the wife)....
