    Blu-ray and BD-Live question

If I go to the BD-Live section under Sony's webpage, it states that it can download additional subtitles. Blu-ray region A is US and Japan. How do I download Japanese subtitles for the blu-ray movies bought in the US (if that movie is available in Japan as well)???

I would suspect you will have to try the .jp website. not the U.S. one.

Why? Blu-ray region A is US and Japan. Why would it differ on the source of the information if it's both Sony?

My last TV was a Sony RPTV. One feature I miss is that RPTV's ability to add subtitles to almost anything. If I had a DVD that had subtitles that I didn't like the positioning, I would use the TV's subtitles. If I had a DVD that did not have subtitles,...

Celebrating its 70th anniversary, the studio that currently owns Gone with the Wind has released it on BluRay in a multiple-disc special collector's edition that includes a ton of extras (well, at least a couple of pounds of extras, some printed, others on the addtional discs) in the oversized box,...

Since there is no law against this.

How do I add regions or open it up wide to 'all' on my region 1 DVD 1060????

Rotel has 'all' enabled dvd players in other countries. I asked tech support (rotel)and they said that even though there is no law against selling region free...
