    Hard Reset for Denon AVR-988?

    Is there a hard reset sequence/combination?

      You have to press and hold both the Standard and DSP Simulation buttons while you power it up with the On/Off switch. Not the standby button but the On/Off switch next to it. Hold both of them down for about 3 sec and it will reset. You can find the info on page 50 in the owners manual.
