Hey guys,
This is the problem i'm getting. I just recently purchased a Yamaha RX-V663 receiver and am having problems when flipping though channels with my cable box (Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4250HD) hooked up to it through HDMI....
This is what happens....
I thought it was the receiver so I returned it thinking it was messed up and got a new receiver (same model).
Once I hooked it up again I got the same issues. So I thought it was my cable box. I just got a NEW cable box today, and the same crap is happening.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Any explanation or any tips on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.
I read somewhere that some cable boxes have issues transmitting a steady signal when going in through a receiver and that I might need to upgrade the firmware. I couldn't find a new firmware anywhere. SO again, any help would be appreciated.!....
Thanks in advance

Should look the same, and you can still have the 663 convert it to HDMI out to the TV.
