Outboard Hdmi Decoders

Are there any outboard HDMI decoders in the pipeline?
I currrently use a Lexicon MC8B as my pre and am loathe to change it but cannot currently enjoy the full benefits of the HDMI audio.
As opposed to changing my pre/pro, the other option would be to decode it before the pre and then route it to the pre.
I saw what Chris has done with the denon and the C1, without using another avr are there any products that decode.
I am sure there would be quite a market for such an item.

I am afraid this will only be available as a processor/receiver. Since HDMI video and audio are on the same connection it makes sense to have at least video switching included. Most if not all future BD player will decode internally anyway. I also would like to separate out video and audio since I don't need to scale video. These processor which can do everything are expensive.

Really do not know. Prototype shown at CES. Perhaps they will release at CEDIA. See their website for info.

I don't see anything on their site mentioning an HD Audio -> PCM decoder. Is this HDMI to HDMI or does it do the D-> A as well?
