I occasionally check my A-35 HD-DVD player's setup page, asking it to connect to the internet and see if there's a newer firmware update. Since the end of the format war, I've still checked, not expecting anything. Well, last night, it magically went from version 1.3 to 2.0!!! No idea yet what it does, but I guess we just got a new update?
