A9X you can get on their pre-order list @ $699 US. Being on the list does not commit you to purchase.
Dougie I love the size . I'm on both pre-order lists, will probably actually buy both and sell the UMC once the XMC comes out.-Chuck- Bottom

Ok I got an answer from Lonnie. He said it uses a single DAC but the way he was saying it sounds like its an 8 channel DAC and 4 outputs go to one channel and then the other 4 to the second channel. For something like 1/3rd the price of the 840c I bet they come quite close. I'd venture to wonder if you'd hear much of a difference at all between the single and dual DAC's. When I built my dual mono WM8740 DAC when I added the second DAC it wasn't a very noticeable difference.- Bottom

Tell them to hurry up and release the CDP! Buy it and I'll bring the CA 840 over.
Course I'm thinking of having RAM modify the 840c, just working on the details of what the total cost will be.
But I doubt it will happen too quickly (look how long it took for me to get it) so we should be able to A/B them!Digital Audio makes me Happy.

Well there are some other things that make those very special Like a fully differential and balanced design amongst some other things.
The ERC-1 is 399 the XPA-1 is going to be 999 not sure if that will go up after the initial release date. I know the UMC-1 will be going up a little in price eventually.- Bottom

I might not be seeing it, but it doesn't appear there is a ground pin on the IEC connector on the amplifier....
Am I missing something?
**NVM just read why they don't use a ground on their site. It still seems risky, but what do I know. Their products always seem pretty nice.-Joe- Bottom

I've got a friend that is needing a new amplifier and preamplifier. I might send him the link and the name of this company. Their stuff defiantly looks promising.
He lives in the middle of no where so that 30 day trial deal would be very nice for him.-Joe- Bottom

Hmm the XPA-2, and XPA-5 are dropping 100 bucks and the XPA-3 is dropping 50. Also they are having free shipping right now on everything. This is all part of the holiday sale and starts Nov 15th. I wonder if I can come up with 699 now to get the XPA-2 before the sale ends....- Bottom
