The only difference I see between the RXv2700 and this one is this one has 2 USB ports. The 2700 only has one on the front. The 2700 goes for around 1500. This doesn't seem to have any other offerings that the 2700 has. Oh yeah, the expensive one has THX. Power output per channel is the same. You might even have more speaker out channels on the 2700 but not sure about that. I know I can hook up 7.1 and an additional 2 enhancement channels.If I am not in trouble for something I did then I am in trouble for something I didn't do.

Features versus performance is the dilema. The Yamaha is loaded with features and cheaper than the Arcam. Is it snobbery, or is the Yamaha RXV2700 receiver really less of a product than the Arcam AVR350. Which receiver will treat my new 804's better. No comments about seperates as I have no space or... -

I have a driver selected to build two 10" vented subwoofers. I have the specs for the driver and the manuf. recommended vented box size, but I do not have the proper software that will give me a cutsheet that shows the correct way to cut and where to place the driver... -
