I thought I just about had my system down, that the last couple of upgrades would have modest impact overall. Upgraded my old DVD player to a Arcam DV-78 and the difference is HUGE. Center channel delivery is unreal, balance all around is so much better and it brings out all the subtleties. Movie sound was a great improvement, picture was a very good improvement.
I thought I had put together a pretty good system and there wasn't much room for improvement in sound, I can now say there was.... WOW, this thing is excellent. :T It's hard to discribe when you thought you had something that was pretty good and it jumps to something well beyond that. Really an excellent DVD player.
