Talking with Sonny about the concept of taking sub equalization and making it full-range for speakers, he mentioned the Audyssey as an upcoming solution.
I haven't heard results since its release, but I'm very interested.

I have spoken with Behringer and they have shown serious interest in designing a replacement for the BFD that is more suited to the consumer market.
