Not sure about what you mean around not knowing how to get started??? It appears that you've picked a possible design, the Modula MT.

Do you have questions about tools, materials, construction??

Also, someone may want to move this thread to Mission Possible...

OK, so you're saying that you aren't sure which design you want to do...

You'd like to choose from the Modula MT, Natalie P, and by "Dayton" do you mean the 3-way? Dayton drivers are used in quite a few projects.

What kind of use are you going to get from them? Home theater, stereo listening, big room, small room, etc?

Any of the 'Dayton' designs won't as sophisticated as the designs posted here. Also most of the PE designs are pretty dated and aren't using the better parts PE has available.

              Do you have tools?

              Router?
              Table or circular saw?
              Sander?

If you have the tools, you should just jump in. You seem to have a big enough budget to make a set of the RS WTMW/TMWW. If you have the space, I would do it. The mains and center would match perfectly, and the mains are very capable as a stereo pair for even bass-heavy music.

              Just do it!

I recently reenlisted in the military, and got a nice little bonus. My wife made the mistake of telling me I could take a couple thousand dollars and "buy whatever I wanted."

The first thing I'm buying, much to her dismay, is a table saw and a router. She thinks...

                    Labor Day Line Array
                    by rhubarb9999
Here is a project I put together over the Labor Day holiday. The drivers are 3 1/2" Panasonic full range speakers from a guy on eBay. My original plan was to clone the Bose L1 system for use with my band .. but the band broke up. So I decided to build a quick and dirty (and cheap) line array...
