I just got a Rotel 1057 receiver in a trade. It is unused in its original opened box. I think it is way more receiver than I will ever use or need. I am thinking of reselling it and was wondering what it would sell for? I searched the web and ebay and did not find any that were resold. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I'd keep it.
That's a new model, I think retail is around US$1300... but any savvy buyer knows warranty is not transferrable, and will likely try to talk you down below bluebook... whatever that is.
But less-savvy buyers can be found on ebay, I suppose.
Again, I'd keep it... great sound quality... I'd rather have an overachiever than not..

Keep it. The RSX-1057 will take modest speakers (<$1000/pr) and make them sound like they cost twice as much. 8O It happened to me. Worth every penny :T -RussRussComment

I'd keep it. I just upgraded to from RSX-1055 to RSP 1098 and RMB 1075, but I won't part with my RSX1055! It's pre pre the RSX1057. I've seen the RSX-1056 couple of weeks on ebay going for GBP550, (in USD that's $1000, but keep in mind that everything here in Europe has a higher price tag). Just my 2cts.

Just got the RSX 1057 on Saturday. Had a chance to play around with it all day today. Well first off, the 1057 replaced my 3 year old RSP 1066 as a Pre/pro. I have the RSX 1057 hooked up to my RMB 1075. I just have the front 2 channels running out of the 1075 and have the center... -
