This is no April Fools Joke folks. During the next couple of days, we will be picking a day to migrate HTGuide to a new server. We will have the same reliable service we have always had, as we are not changing Hosting Services, only moving to a new updated state of the art server! Support is working to coordinate things right now.
We will announce the date of migration from old server to the new server in due time. We hope to minimize downtime while the DNS propagates to our new IP address, and service is restored. But some downtime is inevitable.
Those boxes are notorious for bad/finnicky HDMI outputs  HDMI to DVI "should" work fine for BD/HD-DVD, just know you'll lose any audio trasnmitted over HDMI when you convert it to DVI
Just be sure your TV/projector has DVI with HDCP- otherwise, it's a no-go. HDCP is the digital encryption/content protection system. Stanard PC monitors and many early DVI input TV's don't have HDCP.
You may be better off using component, as there is no ICT flag set on most of the current planned disks preventing full resolution over component video. that may change in time.

I need to run about 25'-30' from my equipment rack to the PJ. I would love to go DVI->HDMI. Before I plop $250 on the cable (and then a bunch more labor and work putting it in the ceiling...) I would dig it if any of you have had experience, either positive or negative with this length of cable....
