Replacing a blown woofer in Athena sub.

My buddy has an SCT Series Athena P3 and he blew the woofer. He is looking for a cheap fix for the time being so I figured he could probably replace the woofer with something relatively cheap from Parts Express that will keep pace or outperform the woofer that comes in them. Here are the specs for the P3. Can you guys offer any suggestions? It is a ported down firing 10" woofer. I assume the screw holes should line up for all 10s or that can at least be measured if necessary? Thanks!

Expert advice needed for Dahlquist DQ-12 quasi-dipole woofer retrofit
        by jdb
I have a pair of Dahlquist DQ-12s that have blown woofers. The foam surrounds are cracked and rotten and one of the spiders is torn. I know that Regnar can rebuild the woofers, but I am not sure if I want to go that route. I have found very little information on these speakers. Here is what I do...

newbie help: athena b1.2 versus epos els-3
        by jdkoola
        Hi,

I was wondering for some opinions on a pair of Athena B1.2 versus the Epos ELS 3. I got the Athena's for ~$100, and the Epos for around $200 (I might be able to push them a little lower). It seems that's a great price for the Epos.

In listening to them, I see what other...

Replacing a dead woofer in a good old DM6?
        by Jacques54
        Hello all,

My apologies if this isn't the right forum to discuss this, I'm new to HTG.

One of my pair of faithfull DM6 (bought back in 1976 or was it 1977) has a dead woofer. The B&W dealer tells me to forget about them, parts are not available anymore, etc.

        DD-15 Blown Woofer
        by EAmin
HT experts! One of my of two DD-15s blew the woofer today. Assuming it is a blown woofer as it is making a crackling noise that seems to be coming from the speaker itself. I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow to investigate. However, I am trying to figure out what happened. Apparently, we had...
