    Power surge/Line Conditioning Question

I saw this deal on buy.com for a Monster Cable Power Center

Since 1999, we've paid our members over $3.6 Billion in Cash Back. Join now for an extra 10% Cash Back boost. Shop 3,500+ stores using coupons or cash back!

Is this a good investment for a home theater system? It says it has "Stage 3" line conditioning?

    Thoughts? advice?

It is actually the same Power center that I own. I would think it certainly is worth it at that price.

    Here are some reviews:

I knew you would be here soon Jason , and APC certainly merits consideration, but for the price...well you know .

Just ordered one yesterday. I have the original 3500, but for the price of the 3500MKll, I just couldn't pass it up.

              Power Products
              by Ron Reda
In looking at the pictures on this forum, I've noticed that a lot of people are using Monster Power products for line conditioning/surge protection. While I know it’s sometimes difficult to determine what kind of effect these types of products have on your system, how do you like them? Why did you...

How do I know if I need power conditioning?
              by tboooe
In my eternal quest to reach musical nirvana I have now turned my attention to power conditioning and power cables. I understand the improvements that may be gained by power cables may be subjective so I will avoid talking about that topic here. What I am curious about is how I know if getting a power...

power conditioning and power protection for B&W speakers and other components
              by wildmda
could someone give some thoughts on the best way to protect the B&W speakers from a power prespective? I currently have a monster 2550 power center. Is this sufficient or should I step up to a bigger, badder model and and a power conditioner like the avs2000 monster?

              Thank you for...

              by ThomasW
Currently through Amazon.com, one can buy the $400 list price Monster HT3500II for under $150 delivered. Now this is nothing more than a glorified surge protector with some filtration. BUT for the price, it's a pretty nice chassis to add some substantial upgrades. (note that the Amazon.com offer is...

              RMB-1585 Power Noise?
              by Gui0507
              Hi all!

Just took ownership of a new Rotel RMB-1585 200wpc. I’ve noticed it has a sight noise to it when it’s on, seems like electrical noise but not sure if it’s something more serious. I also can hear when starting up a sort of light rapid clicking sound,
              I haven’t been...
