Magnepan Speakers near tv, problem?

    Magnepan Speakers near tv, problem?

    Hi,

    I'm thinking of buying the Magnepan mg12 speakers.
    Can i place them near (1ft away) my tv (crt), or is the magneticfield to strong?
    and what about near amps (Parasound) etc.?
    at the moment my B&W 9nt speakers are 1.5 ft on the left and right of the tv and no probs.

      Magnepans are very sensitive placement speakers, I don't believe the EMF is the issue more than the placement of the speakers and the driving components. Ensure you have enough space for your placement.

              Having been an extremely frugal music listener-mainly due to financial reasons-it has been difficult throughout the years to satisfy my want of good sound.               Does it worth the upgrade, or MG12 are fine with the system I have?
