    Speaker connections do not fit?

Does anyone else have trouble connecting speaker tips through the terminals on their receiver?

I have some thick Monster THX Cable that I run to my two fronts. The cable tips have a flaired gold connection tip. It's thicker than a flex pin.

The tips fit into the back of my B&W's no problem- but they do not fit all that snug on the HK receiver.
The screw bar- for the plastic cap used to tighten the connection- is right in the center- which leaves little room for the tip to sit.

I crammed them in and screwed the plastic cap as tight as it would go and I was still able to pull the connection out.
It just does not want to sit in there.

A thinner flex pin might work better- but the cable is pre-built with this thick tip.

    Anyone have this happen?

Well, I've realized that building a square box is harder than it appears to be. I learned a lot building my subs the past couple weeks and I've realized that power tools can't overcome user ignorance and can't compensate for lack of experience even if you have a good plan of attack. I wanted to start...

      Hello

I am trying to find out how to connect the ethernet cable from the (Back panel) Pre Amp RC 1082 to my computer (I mac), so I get audio files to hear music.

Is there any configuration, or some other tip?

      Thanks in advance

I need to buy some speaker wire for my A51 amplifier and want to know what y'all think about spade and banana connectors on the amp side. Is there enough space between each output to fit spade connectors? Do spades provide a better contact surface than banana plugs?

      I'm a complete newbie...
