    New Denon 3806 and 4306 announced

    Audioholics has a full write up and pictures on them.

    Anyways, Relevant info:

    3806 - $1,299
    4306 - $1.999

    HDMI switching. The 4306 does upconversion.
    XM Ready
    Audyssey MultiXT Room EQ with Microphone
    Ipod terminal and USB port – 4306 only.
    PC Setup and control - 4306 only
    New remote
    Firewire – 4306 only
    Dual component outs – kinda neat if you have 2 displays like a PJ and a plasma..
    7 digital ins.


    Not bad but the 4306 seems a bit steep compared to the Pioneer Elite at $1,500.

      Very interesting... Audyssey MultiXT Room EQ with Microphone alone makes the 3806 well worth $100 more than the 3805. Curing multi-listening position response and handling low frequency response is pretty absurd. IF it's the same full blown version that is in the 5805, that is a great upgrade to the 3800 series.

          It is but the only flaw would be no HDMI upconversion. Pioneer's Elite has that on their new receivers. JVC will include that on thier $500-$700 receivers.
