    Arcam AVR-250 or Rotel RSX-1056?

    I'm looking for a good sounding receiver that will provide clear dialogue(without sibilance) when watching movies and years of headache free operation. I had originally intended getting the Marantz SR-8500 but am afraid that it's sound might be too warm(muffled) for my tastes.
    I have, in the past, owned some high end stereo equipement(Threshold, Audio Research = spoiled ears) but am new to the AV scene.

      I have not heard the ARCAM AVR-250 but we have the 300 in one of our showrooms. It is incredible. I can't say that I have heard it a/b'd against the Rotel but ARCAM makes some very, very fine products that you'd achieve every bit you are seeking.
