It's a CD player - a pretty good one if memory serves, but I think it's been discontinued. I could be wrong on that, though..

I've spent quite a lot of time reading reviews at Audio Review about a lot of equipment. Doesnt seem to be a lot of overhyped reviews there either, just down to earth opinions of regular everyday people not compensated reviewers.
Really, I'm more inclined to believe the average person (such as those in Audio Review) rather than ones who throw around a lot of fancy over the top words anyway.
