I have a new Samsung tx-p3075wh TV with a new Denon 1910 DVD directly interconnected with a Tributaries DVI cable ($65). Last night we watched "Runaway Jury" and there was black and dark orange crush all through it. About halfway through I changed the mode from 720p to 1080i, and it seemed to help, but not alleviate the problem. The night before, we watched "Van Helsing" which has a lot of dark scenes (blue and black) and I didn't notice any problems. What causes the problem? Could the source be causing this (Runaway Jury vs. Van Helsing)? More importantly, how can I get rid of the problem? Should I try component? I'm learning and trying to enjoy this new gear. Suggestions are appreciated!
