    Honor the King

    It was this day in 1977 that we lost Elvis, the King of Rock and Roll. Some of you weren't here then, but I remember where I was at just as plain as day when I heard this news.

    I just watched an Elvis special, I'd say one of his last in the prime concerts, and it was awesome! He was the King, no two ways about it, see the movies section for more on "The King".

    We miss you Elvis! You were the King of Rock and Roll!

          Yeah I'll never forget that day. The wife and I were on the road during our vacation when we heard it on the car radio.

              I was at my Dad's business, along with the daughter of a friend of the family. We sort of greived together about it. I don't remember crying, but it was very sad.

              I once saw Elvis, I am going to say it was in 1972. What a show.
