DVD INTERNATIONAL'S - Naxos Night Music Vol. 2

I received this fine disc from Ralph (Alpaha DVD) a few weeks ago. Being that was at the begining of my move, I just yesterday had a chance to listen to it.

So far I have only enjoyed this disc via it's DTS track (there are several others to choose from). And what a wonderful track it is! The sound was very involving. With no signs of edge. Multi-channel sound may not be the first choice for some but, this disc proves most would be hard pressed to dislike it when done right!

Set in the classical genre, it's laid back sounds from some of the biggest names in the business, are sure to please. And for those that would like a little more visual relaxzation, the video scenes are well done to boot.

This DVD will get a lot of "air time" in my system.

Super Speedway is still the standard for Demo disc!
      by John Holmes
I popped in SS yesterday for the first time in over a year. I don't even watch or follow car racing. But, you have to get pumped about this sport when watching this disc.

The audio on this disc will put every part of the sound spectrum through it's paces. And the numerous pans through...

Just got the Kenwood Promo Disc!
      by John Holmes
This is a great disc. It was an interesting promo but, I love the THX "Jungle Sounds"! I also love the video shot of the U.S. flag. I wish all my movies looked as good as the screen shot of the flag.

PS Thanks for the tip Andrew!

Anyone else get Kill Bill Vol 2?
      by Shane Martin
Being that I saw and bought Vol 1, I bought Vol 2 blind as I didn't have time to see it. Anyone else pick this up?

I figured it was a no brainer since I loved Vol 1 and couldn't make the trek to the theater for Vol 2.

Anyone Else Trying HD Audio Downloads?
      by David Meek
I just signed up with HDTracks and bought my first two high-def albums. I've been searching around for a likely candidate album or two for a while and finally found a couple to start with. The first is Alison Krauss' & Robert Plant's Raising Sand. The second is Chesky Record's Ultimate Demonstration...

HD Music Is Going Mainstream - Slowly, But It's Getting There
      by David Meek
I've been a member of HD Tracks since I purchased my Olive Opus music server. At first there were just a couple of albums that interested me, and over the past couple of years there have been the occasional offering that I downloaded. Now, that lack of popular titles seems to be changing with the...
