Just got the Kenwood Promo Disc!

This is a great disc. It was an interesting promo but, I love the THX "Jungle Sounds"! I also love the video shot of the U.S. flag. I wish all my movies looked as good as the screen shot of the flag.

Do you see jaggies as the flag ripples in the wind?

This is one of the effects that Faroudja's DCDI fixes. I find it to be almost unwatchable on my DVD-P.

Damn Stacey for teaching me about this stuff -- now I'm seriously thinking about a DVD-Player just to play movies, and another one for DVD-A and an SACD one for... well, you get the picture ;-)

He might be really nice and send you one of his copies

Very slightly. I think that was part of what impressed me. My entry Tosh 1200 player using the S-video out, did an excellent job on reproducing this image.

Now I did see a few jaggies but, I had to really look for them. Not as forward like on the Toy Story 2 intro.
