    Teena Marie gone at 54

    One of my favorite artist, Teena Marie, was found unconscious by her daughter on Dec 26.

    Though she was categorized in the genres of R&B, Soul and funk, when I listened to her, I just heard fantastic music. Her talent for being a singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, arranger made her able to deliver her vision to her audience in spades.

    Those of you that are unfamiliar with her, should checkout some youtube of her work.

    Rest in peace Teena, you will be missed.
