    KOB turns 50 today

    Today was the 50th anniversary of the release of (KOB) ‘Kind of Blue’.

    Just curious, does this album hold the same significance to any others around here as it does to me?

          I still don't own it. :E I'm going to have to change that.

          I do however own " Sketches of Spain"..."Solea" is still one of my all time favorite songs.

          Miles is timeless!

              It's in my top 5 jazz albums and in my top ten of any genre.

              If you like it and haven't already, check out Ascenseur Pour L'Echafaud

              It's a soundtrack he did around the same time for a french film. Very much in the same vein. I think you'd like it.
