    New Favorite Allison Krause Song

I was listening to my daughter's Buffy The Vampire Slayer: The Album CD just to check out some new stuff and came across an Allison Krause song that I'd not heard before - It Doesn't Matter. What a nice, quiet, soulful song. It's also on her So Long, So Wrong album. Give it a listen if you get a chance.

    :4: out of :5:

David, I hadn't heard Alison Krauss before but I've listened to It Doesn't Matter and it is a thoughtful song. I've catalogued it for late night mood music listening.

Us bluegrass and country boys here up in Northern' CA done been listening to ole Alison Kraus fer a LONG time... you best be pickin up some of the Rounder SACD hybrid releases of Alison Kraus and the Union Station. Ya kin get them straight from Rounder , including titles from their many other artists.

One's I think kindly of include "New Favorite", "Live", "Forget about it" (which may be out of print in SACD), "Now that I've found you", "Restless".

If you're just discovering AK then I would suggest "o Brother Where Art Thou" either the movie or soundtrack- lots of good Bluegrass in there and Allison / Union Station is featured on more than a few of the tracks.

Saw her along with a lot of other Bluegrass artists here in Fort Worth about a year ago. Absolutely amazing.

Okay boys 'n girls, it appears Mr. Jon has been working waayyyyy too hard of late -- his diction is slipping. Don't you just HATE it when that happens? :B

However, his choices are "spot on". :T
