Does the Signal flow arrow noted on audio interconnects has any influence ? can someone explain ?

The majority of the time it simply indicates the direction the wire is 'drawn' (pulled) through the forming die.
Sometimes it referres to a scheme where there is a lifted ground (drain ) wire at one end of shielded IC. This is called a telescoping ground.
In the case of the telescoping ground IC's yes pay attention to the arrows.
If the arrows are just indicating a wire draw direction just listen and see if you prefer one direction over the other.

Just got a 1066 and I am having a problem with what I think is Ground Loop Hum. I have the unit hooked up to a Monster PowerCenter HTS-3500MkII which is plugged in to a grounded outlet with all of my other components. I then disconnected the other components leaving only this processor plugged in along... -
I've got the worst ground-loop noise thanks to my DishTV HD receiver... and I've tried almost everything I can to fix it. I'm *confident* it's from the Dish Receiver - as soon as I unplug the coax, the noise goes completely away.
