No contest, JJ 322 for me. Looks alone would sell me on it, lol. It better be a totally blind face off, otherwise, the beauty of the 322 will influence you I think.

By the way, I will be demo'ing both amp for 2 weeks before I decide which one to keep. Each can be returned for a full refund. The model JJ 322 amp is a true dual mono design with seperate transformers for each channel. The AQ1010DT weighs 53 lbs and the model JJ 322 weighs 92 lbs.

LOL! I understand that I may be able to order the ASL AQ1010DT amp with chrome transfomer covers and I do have it coming with a gold faceplate. The JJ amp is definately a winner when it comes to looks. Some call it audio jewerly. Wood, glass and gold are definately a great combination together. I am hoping that it sounds as good as it looks. My wife loves the look of the JJ amp as well.

Well, you might as well keep peace at home, as long as they both sound great lol. The gold face plate would definitely change the look. But something about the JJ, it's just elegant beauty I think, art if you will. The other one, just looks like a tube amp to me, though a nice one.

I agree completely. One of the reasons for demo'ing the AQ1010DT amp is so that I can have something to compare the Model JJ 322 amp to. I can certainly compare it to me current amp and I will but I want a reference for a similar type of amp, both being a parallel 300B amp.

If looks were all I was concerned about then certainly the model JJ 322 amp would be it. I have this sneaky feeling that the JJ amp will be as sweet sounding as it looks. Stay tuned.
