Really cool looking 2 channel gear

For a long time, I was not concerned about the looks of the gear I bought, basically a lot of black boxes that did not look interesting. Hey, at least all the gear looked uniform. That was then and now I want a peice of audio gear that looks as good as it sounds.

So I thought it would be interesting to see what everyones thoughts on what you consider really cool or sexy looking audio gear.

I will start and I do admit that I have not heard any of the gear that I am about to mention. If I were to buy any of these peices they would have to sound as good as they look.

Very nice looking gear. Usually solid state gear does not employ woodwork on the caseworks. It gives it a kind of an artistic and warm look. Good to see someone doing a departure from industrial looking gear. The prices also seem not too bad from what I have gathered.

Yeah, for some reason, most SS gear can be pretty sterile in comparison. This line has been getting pretty good reviews in the British mags.

Lex that Oracle is purported to be priced at 36,000 pounds/sterling, That makes it about $80k canadian :E

You are a wee bit high on the price of the Oracle CD turntable. The transport lists for $8K CDN ($5400 US) not $80K CDN. The integrated CD player lists for 11.5K CDN ($7800 US). Still very pricey but beautiful looking none the less. When I saw you figures my eyes also popped out of there head :B

Ok, sorry, I may have made a mistake, for I read it in "What Hi-Fi" When I first seen it, I was floored as well, that is why I said "Purported".

I thought, well in this crazy industry where speaker cables can cost $5,000, sure, CD turntables can cost 80K....
