    Stands?

What do you gents suggest for a "bookshelf" speaker stand(s). I would like a cherry finish if possible, but will forgo the finish if a particular stand is just plain better.

As long as people will accept crap, it will be financially profitable to dispense it.

Sanus NF series in cherry. Very handsome, sturdy, and moderately priced.

Hey Crimson, good to see you posting!

Not to many stands are wood now. Sonus faber makes some factory stands designed for particular models, and as Crimson said, maybe Sanus? Got a link for those Joe?

Metal is the stand material of choice, primarily because most all can be shot or sand filled for isolation of the speaker from the floor.

Lovan makes some nice speaker stands that fit that description. I have a set of Lovan Ballet II, and would like to pick up a second set sometime for rear duty. Sadly, my rears are on bar stools, lol. You laugh, I will terminate your membership.

Not a long face. That smiley is called "neutral." I couldn't find one where the little guy was biting his tounge. (i.e. Trying as hard as I can not to laugh at the fact that Mr. Extrema is using BAR STOOLS)

P.S. Thanks for the link Crims...

It's a good d@mn thing you used Mr.

It's one of those things that's been slipping my mind for a while. Maybe by the end of the year I can take care of that problem so that you have to eat every smile and laugh you made.

That is because, although a lot of folks are interested in what you might have to say about the issue, they didn't want to take a "stand" themselves. :>) Anyway, glad you found a good answer.

                          Speaker stands for 600 series?
                          by BlazeMaster
Hi, I'm sure I came to the right place for this answer. How much does the speaker stands for the 600s S3 series cost? I think all the bookshelves use the same stand, just in case they don't, I'm going to be using them with the 602 S3. Can I some other stands? Like Lovan's styles.

                          by tboooe
Hi there. I am thinking about getting some stands for my 805S which are currently sitting on bar stools...

My question is, how do the speakers attach to the stands (screws, velcro, etc). I have a young daughter and another one coming so I want to make sure my precious speakers are...

                          Good speaker stands?
                          by eisenhower
My DIY speaker stands, built off of the tntaudio.com "stubby" design, just fell apart, *almost* destroying the modula's that were on top of them. They were pretty wobbly, and an unfortunate bump actually caused the wieght of the speaker to split the base in half.

                          I'm not sure...

                          by redwings99
Hi. I have DM602's on Sanus stands. The spiked feet on the stand provide decent stability but, due to dogs and kids, I'd really like to bolt the speakers to the stands. There are holes on the top plate but was wondering if it's a good idea or not and, if so, how far into the bottom of the speaker is...
