Well, the title says it all, if you're curious what a died in the wool HT magazine says when they get a hold of one of these new fangled zero feedback solid state designs, read your December issue of Home Theater, or pick one up from your favorite (hopefully local) newstand. Safeway carries them where I live, of all things. The V-6 is the multi-channel equivalent to their stereo V-5; the V-6 can weigh in at up to 120 lB depending on how it's equipped! My aching back!
Actually, there are some other interesting reviews in this issue, including a new baby DLP project that is (for a change) intelligently optimized for HT on a budget- it uses the TI 848X600 panel in the dual mode; that is, it can display widescreen 480P correctly, and it uses the new Faourdja/Sage IC for de-interlacing.
