          I'd like to think I got off that merry-go-round (I'd like to, but really, it's my wallet that got off… :wink: ).

          Actually, I feel my speakers are more than up to the task in my two systems, and they are the single most important part of the system (apart from the actual audio that emerges from them, of course). I've reached a point where I no longer actively seek out the next greatest piece of gear and have returned my focus to the media that plays through the system. For me, gear-hunting is cyclical. I usually keep things until they wear out. But when the hunt is on…the search for the intersection of excellence and affordability is one I take seriously.
