    Wyred 4 sound

    Does anyone on here have any experience with Wyred 4 sound ST-500 power amp? Is Emotiva in the same boat audiowise with they're XPA-2?

          I've had a ST500 for a few months now. It's an excellent amp, very dynamic, transparent(no coloration), and the tightest low end I've experienced so far. Everything I could ask for in an amp. I'm now debating if I should move up to the STI-1000 or just purchase the matching STP preamp.

          I haven't heard the XPA-2, but a friend of mine has owned both and claims the W4S has a lower noise floor and is more neutral sounding.
