OK…….everyone is always talking about, comparing, posting pics, wrighting reviews, asking about performance, quoting specs and offering advice on ‘equipment’. Don’t get me wrong, that is a Big part of why we all come here, myself included.

But after all the questions are answered, opinions expressed, pictures posted, lists of tunes listened to, playing now or needed to be heard, we all eventually sit and listen to our music.

And it is just this activity that gets short shift, despite it being one, if not the, most important, personal and least discussed. While having a ‘designer’ amp, and mega dollar speakers can make for an envious grouping, if you don’t have a place set up to get the most out of it………..well, I mean, what good is any system if your not in a place were you can enjoy it? We really don’t need a mega$ system to get the thrill we all are after and trying constantly to improve upon when we immerse ourselves in our favorite music, do we?

If any of you are like me, you have devoted time and effort to create an environment where you can get most from your music. A place that is just for you, where you kick back in a comfort zone that others know is yours alone, off limits, and meant for one soul purpose. I’m talking about your sweet spot. The place where you ’park it’. Like the ‘X’ on a treasure map that marks the spot. That place were when someone comes to your place for the first time, you say, ‘sit here and listen to this’.

It’s time to show us your Throne!

Bill... I don't get your picture. You have your gear outdoors? I'm very curious to see how your that room looks from a whole view.

(Nevermind... I just realized the second post was by you as well.) lol

I think the first image is some kind of ancient toilet room.

I'm not sure what you're referring to David, but I'm thinking those are #1 and #2 compatible.

As soon as I do some house cleaning I'll try to post my throne, where I do my listening ... not my best thinking.

                  Correct. It's Roman.

Actually, public toilets in Rome were unisex.

Must have been a bitch keeping your white toga clean, ya think?

David, ironically, my Ekornes "throne", shown in black in my post above, is actually the red color shown in your Lane photo. So, everybody, just mentally re-paint the two chairs in the opposite colors. :>)

The only problem in your picture, Bill, is that your wine glass is EMPTY!

Otherwise, I have enjoyed many a hour in that cushy white couch. (With my glass full of course...)
BE ALERT! The world needs more lerts.

Oh if you look, there's just a little bit in there.

Knowing Bill, he would NEVER let the glass go empty...nor the music end! :T

I too have spent too many good hours on that couch listening to music with Bill. Some really great times... and they will get better with some new speakers!

I'll try to post picks of my "soon to be old" throne as I'm looking for new couches/chairs/whichever way I go.
