man, where have you been over the last 10 years. some of the stuff being mastered and pressed nowadays makes MFSL look second rate. There some old and new names today pressing both new and old music and it's all really fabulous if a little pricey at about 30 bucks a pop

Add Audioquest Music to the list as a producer of audiophile recordings. BTW, in the original post I understood "audiophile record companies" to mean producers of recordings, not retailers. Acoustic Sounds is really not an "audiophile record company" but a high-end retailer of equipment and audiophile recordings.

STS Digital

I just came across this Holland Co. Google on STS Digital. I listened to their samples. The "high end audiophile test demo SACD", ones are unbeliveable on my computer little speakers where the sound is usually low quality. I'm checking pricing with their only USA dealer in Ca.

I've got that disk. In fact I've got all their disks. My favourite, I think is the '4 Sax Only' from l'imprevu. The demo SACD is great and is the SACD I use to demo to friend but I sometimes listen to it on its own... Worth $20.
