I just checked out Peter Gabriel's label Real World Records and theres a large selection of world music. I know that his label uses excellent ADAs from Prism Audio. The same as used by Lord of the Rings @ Apple Studios and at Chrysalis Records. Has anyone bought CDs from Real World? I also listened to his new label Pre Records that has "non-World" artists that do pop, rock etc. Only 2 but excellent. Visited the site and listened to Pina who does a gravelly voiced upbeat Goth folk, country rock! Also Sizer Barker who does "hookaliscious" Beatle-esque pop tunes that are full of different instruments and new sounds. I checked out the catalogue at Real World and the artists samples are recorded in a high enough quality so you can tell if the songs are good, not like Amazon where the samples are so low-fi its hard to tell if the artist can sing and play. I made up a long list of upcoming purchases. I'm sure the quality is excellent but has anyone got CDs from Real World? -Russ
