Meridian M33 speakers

I posted this on tower of power but thought I might broaden my audience. I think I stumbled onto a pretty nice deal...I passed it up at first but then started thinking these might be fun to play with hooked up to my computer.

Anybody familiar with the Meridian M33 active speakers ? I can get a pair brand new in the box for $1,000.00...is it a decent deal ? is it a good deal?
are they decent speakers ? I belivieve they are the older analog speakers not the DSP..

or has no one messed with these little ones ?

I thought they would be fun to play with my computer and my elite pro card.

Oh well ..I'm going to give em a try, the guy says if I don't like them he'll take em back. Got nothing to loose..

Did not see your post earlier otherwise i would have definitely encouraged you to try the M33's

I am in fact looking for a pair which is why i am contacting you

Any chance your source still has some of these available?
