    Samsung Blu-ray

I was in the local Best Buy tonight and saw the Samsung Blu-ray playing it's demo Hi-def DVD. Picture was good. Very good. But it wasn't like the custodian had to mop up after me when I was done watching it. I'm still in "wait and see" mode on this one.

I don't think they've even cracked the potential on blu-ray and hd-dvd yet. Look at the improvements DVD has made over the years.

When you consider that Blu-Ray and HD-DVD both have the potential to rival - if not surpass - HDTV broadcasts in quality, I'm all for giving them both a while to settle in and work out the kinks. Like Keith said, look at the quality of the original DVDs vs the quality of current generation offerings. The difference is not subtle.

Blu-Ray is a long way off. HD-DVD has already best HDTV broadcasts.

I've been trying to decide between these 2 models(or maybe something better)

            HL-S6187W vs KDSR60XBR1

The samsung is about 1K less than the sony, but the sony gets such great reviews. It's hard to cough, cough up 4K for a TV though. I've never even bought a car that was...

Not relay sure where this post should go but figured I would throw it here and it can always be moved to the right spot.

            by begood
I have owned an SSP-300 for about a month and really love the sound. However, for some reason I cannot get the video and sound to match. I am hoping someone with similar equipment can tell me their lip sync delay setting. I have owned several prepros/receivers and never had a problem setting the...
