    My speaker / CD settings

While going through my settings on my NAD T753, in the CD input section I have a "gain" option. what setting should this be set at. It's currently at 0 but can go up or down by 9 settings (or so).

    Thanks a bunch,
    Don

You can a find pdf file of your units manual here: from NAD web site

My guess is it may be a feature that allows you to ues it as means of adjusting the output signal level in order to let you match the sound level of a CDp to the other components within you system, but this just a guess, as I said.

If you find something in the manual, maybe you could let me know if i was even close?!?!

I could not find anything on this subject in my manual. This very question was answered in another forum. Your answer is correct.
      Thank you!

Is the Rotel 1056 brighter than the NAD T753/T763 ?
I've only heard the latest Denon's & found they were way too harsh with my room/speakers. Some people seem to think the NAD's have the best 2 channel 'bottom end' but are let down by dated processing/channel steering...
          whereas the...

          1055/1056 Video Switching
          by sylvain
          Hi,

I spent a lot of time listening to NAD and Rotel receivers in the store and decided to go for the cheaper NAD T753.

Unfortunately, I am having a lot of problem with the video switching abilities of the receiver. There is a strong red push (10-15% measured with the Avia...

          Hi.

If my Rotel 1056 doesn't come back fixed (which I hope it does), I have chose the following in my price range to consider (Rotel included for comparison).

I was quite surprised to see quite a difference in weight.
