I think I'm ready to jump!!!!!!

I'm so close to pulling the trigger, I just want to make sure I don't make a mistake, I have read so much I'm seeing cross-eyed. The Outlaw 990 Surround Sound Processor seems to be every thing I'm looking for. If I could just hear from somewhone Who has one or has had one I will "do the deed".

It is the right price point and the reviews are just what I have been looking for. Called support and they seem to also know their stuff.

This has been a long search and the bonus is I can in home tril for just 1 way shipping........

    Thanks Again

$1100 will put you in the realm of some pretty good company.

I have not ever heard the Outlaw equipment, but have heard it is considered quite capable for its price. Ask around to see if others have tried it with your speaker combo, and if you can, go listen to other comparable brands in that price range.

Having the in-home audition and 'new with warranty' is a significant feature.

I looked seriously at an Outlaw pre/pro recently too, but decided to take a riskier road and bought a used RSP-1066.

      Hi Brac,
I have not heard the Outlaw 990 but I do have the 950 and thier M200 monoblock. All I can say is that I am very happy with Outlaw gear. They have the best service dept. hands down in the industry. I have not had one problem with any of thier gear. I think you will enjoy the 990.

        Pre/Pro- Rotel, Outlaw 990

        Hi everybody,

I'm considering a pre-amp for my RB 1090 and RMB 1095. I am looking at Rotel RSP 1068 (used) or an Outlaw 990. I would say around 1100 bucks or under would suffice for the moment.

I considered the RSP 1069 but it is very expensive and has many issues that...

I'm in the process of rebuilding my audio system from the ground up. I don't have unlimited funds, but at the same time I can spend a reasonable amount of money, I'm not going to spend $20,000 for a new system, but I'll spend several thousand. I enjoy movies and need a good set up for HT. But I also...

Which BluRay Player with Outlaw 990 Preamp?
        by ClosetSciFiGeek
Just bought an Outlaw 990 Preamp. It does NOT decode the two latest codecs. I am going to use the 7.1 Analog Ouputs on a BluRay player. Which player would be best for this. My current player only has 5.1 outputs.

        Outlaw and B&W

Hi there. I am looking at HT components and have pretty much decided on the B&W 704 floorstanding speakers for fronts and bookshelves for rears.

However, I am considering the Outlaw 990 receiver or the Anthem AVM (30 or 40) to drive this and wanted to hear back from others who have...

I've got a question, and I think I know the answer, but what the heck. I have decided to spend some money to move from big box store mediocre equipment to higher end seperates. It's a slow process as I research everything that I possibly can before I buy. I have a Rotel RM-1050 to power the front...
