                        NEIL YOUNG PRAIRIE WIND 2005
Awesome CD recording :T Unfortunately the remasters of his earlier 60s-70s albums are poorly done. Buy the vinyl. He makes sure his recent works are well recorded on CD and LP. His recent greatest hits is remastered properly on CD so some of those earlier songs are available on CD. Prairie Wind is alot like Harvest...acoustic,alt, country with a bit of rock.

                        RODNEY CROWELL OUTSIDER 2005
Another great sounding CD. This time from Johnny Cash's son-in-law. Superb country rock guitar and harmonies with a slight punky edge as in the "Obscenity Prayer (Give It To Me)" . Hes been around for 30 years but his last 2 albums are probably his best. Like Peter Gabriel, he gets better with age.

I'm listening to Morcheeba - The Antidote, which is a mix of House, R'n'B and Hip Hop.

I think it is a fantastically produced album from a British group.

The wiggles were actually a band before becoming the wiggles.

Pretty sure they were called the cockroaches. I saw them at a club one night many moons ago in Sydney Australia.

Cannot say I liked their music much. They are doing much better as the wiggles.

Their best song now is Fruit Salad, Yummy yummy. LOL

I am constantly forced to watch their dvd's by my 3 year old son.

It's the curse of having children, or in my case, of having friends with children.

But all in all, given that they are a childrens band and have to sing silly songs, they still suck.
Hello, my name is Eric and I am a music addict.

Mark Knopfler Sailing to Philadelphia 2000
Excellent SQ-as good as it gets. On HDCD. Knopfler uses Prism Sound's AD and DA converters with assorted software to record first rate sound. As far as the songs- its better than his first with Dire Straits. :E So that makes it his best work.

The title track is worth the price of admission, but the whole album (which I'm listening to on CD after having almost worn out a vinyl copy purchased years ago) gently rocks with good balance between voices and instruments (some interesting guitar work) and a steady beat propelling forward the mostly ballad-like material. If you use this one to demo your system, it will be for detail (percussion stands out) and sound stage, not bombast.

I spent a great deal of time wading through past relationships and honestly examining their purpose, and in doing so came to the realization that, for years, I had not been all that honest with myself. That, more than anything else, influenced the material on this record, producing, at times, uncomfortable realizations represented in song. Some might, upon examination, call them bitter. Others might disregard them altogether, searching more for the comfortable familiarity of past work. But the truth is that what was ultimately produced was beyond my control in that, given everything that had transpired, it either had to be honest or I would have to walk away from music altogether. In the end, these fifteen songs combine to represent a remembrance, one that, in no small way, both began and ended on the floor of a shower.

Knopfler uses Prism Sound's AD and DA converters with assorted software to record first rate sound. As far as the songs- its better than his first with Dire Straits. :E So that makes it his best work.

Lately I have been getting into female vocalist but the usual stuff like Diana Krall or Nora jones is to dry after a while.

So besides "The Wall" disc I have been listening to Erykah Badu and Alica Keys. My girlfriend thinks I have gone insane.

It happens when you buy a very reveling system you have to change to better recorded music. Unfortunately most hard rock and metal are recorded and mixed horribly so I listen to that in the car but at home I have to expand my listening tastes.

World Wide Underground is in my cd player right now to answer the question.
