It has a MSRP above $3000, but was a $799 woot just last year, anybody have an opinion??

Didn't see anything bad. It's TFT does more then the 1098's does.

I've had mine for about two years and recommend it to anyone buying used.
Compared it with AVM-20 and think it's a better equipped unit- especially with its monitor (for navigating DVD-A menus). Modified mine with better grade caps and love it! ;x(

Nice unit- with mods it's a "giant killer". :T

did you do the mod of the upgraded caps your self?
and what were the values of the caps? were the ones in the fosgate clearly marked with cap values?
