Will Blue Tac, will it harm the speaker finish?

I guy at the Hi-fi store told me about this for mounting speakers to the top of the stands. Any of you use it? Will it hurt the finish on the speakers?

    thanks!

    Hi tatan,

Not sure what the Blue Tac is, but I think you might be referring to something that we call Tic-Tac or something like that here in South Africa. (wondergom in afrikaans)

Now I have used Tic-Tac for stand mount speakers before (B&W 110). And it did work then and it did nor harm the finish of my speakers.

Blu-Tac shouldn't harm the finish on your speakers. It's been used in that application for years and I've never heard of a problem.

Classy finish on Parasound HALO line

I tell you, you've got to see these units in person. The satin finish is quite stunning, but the best part has to be the lighting design. The blue glow inside and behind buttons is very, very attractive, and the display is nice and crisp. In the dark they're even better.

any harm in stacking rotel amps?
        by BlazeMaster
Is there any harm in stacking 2 rotel amps on top of each other? I'm thinking about getting the 1080 and already have the 1075. Due to rack space limits I will be forced to stack them on top of each other. They are both the same weight, with the 1075 a little taller of a chasis, is there any potential...

Hey everyone. I just bought a Toshiba TheatreWide 50H82 and I love the tv. Cable is okay, DVD's ROCK!!! I can't wait until I get Hi-Def this fall

Anyway, should I be concerned about damaging the internal components of the TV if I have the sub too close to it? Right now the sub is within...
