    CLICK with new cables

    Today I changed the speaker cables and when I switched the amp on, a big "CLICK" sounded. It only happened the first time.
    Of course the volume was on minimun.
    Anybody had the same experience with new cables?

      I've never had it with speaker cables, but I have experienced it with interconnects.
      Digital Audio makes me Happy.

          Transients can occur with speaker cables and interconnects. Whenever you are going to change ANYTHING on your system, be sure to power everything off. Not stand-by. Off.

              Hopefully this thread wont spark too intense a debate but I am going to mention both cables/interconnects and "warm" sounding speakers...

              Tongiht I changed my interconnects to some nice red flat ones. The results were incredible! These IC's are known for being very revealing...
