    Amp Repair Recommendation?

I have a mid 80s NAD 2600a amp that has begun to display its age.
It needs to be looked into and sorted. I suspect caps need to be replaced/upgraded at least.
Any recommendations as to where/whom to send it?

Hi Alan, welcome to The Guide. :welcome:

The absolute first place I'd go is to NAD's web-site and contact their customer support. They'll have the best idea of who in your area can service your baby.

      Thanks for the welcome.
I did try the Cservice number.
Maybe it was past biz hours but the choices led me nowhere. If I remember correctly I ended up with one choice and it was for parts. I admit it was a lovely Canadian female voice on the recording and she sounded honestly interested in getting me to the correct place but the menu just dead ended with " Press ( some key) for parts."
I was hoping for something like "For non warrenty repairs, please enter your 5 digit zipcode." But that was never an option.

Is it a simple matter to actually talk to someone there?

I'm not sure. Well, if you are in south-central Texas I can get the info on the "local" choices from my brother-in-law (he's an NAD fan/owner). . . .

I have no local dealers nor any local repair options so TX is as close as any.
          Thanks very much.

readout screen. In the end nothing worked...

Seeking advice on vintage speaker repair
            by Garyf52
I have a nice pair of 70's era Dynaco Phase III speakers. They were used for a long time with disintegrated foam surrounds on the mid range drivers. Otherwise they are in very good shape. My goal is to put them back into service if possible. These are 3-way speakers that were only produced in last few...

            RDV-1060 repair guide
            by orangeade
Hello all. I've had my Rotel gear for approx. 4 years now and been very happy with it. My Rdv-1060 has always been a bit finicky but recently just crapped out. I've had it looked at and repair costs just aren't aren't worth it however don't really feel like tossing it out just yet. I've been told...

Baking HDMI board to repair TV
            by ---k---
I have a less than 2 year old LG 4K tv that has decided to stop accepting HDMI input. I get no signal error. The internal Netflix etc. works fine. Searching the net I found a site that claims if you remove the HDMI board and bake it at 385* for 10 minutes it will fix the bad solder joints and good...
