I'm not sure you can really go wrong with any of your choices. All three are fine amps and I would be happy to plug any one of them into my system.
There are lots of Bryston owners/fans here, but my personal preference would be for the Aragon. To my ears it sounds a bit more rounded than the Krell and if you can get it for almost half the cost of the 80-B, that definitely comes under the heading of "value". Both amps should drive the MMGs without strain. After that it becomes a question of styling and there again I prefer the 4004.

First post over here. I am usually in the DIY section. I want to buy a used high end amp. I have an Outlaw 950 pre/pro and WWMT DIY speakers. I am currently using a Behringer EP2500 power amp to drive them. I believe an Aragon 4004 or 8008 would serve me better. I'd also consider Bryston if they were... -
My non Classe/B&W system in our PA family room was destroyed during a lightening storm, and along with numerous items, my Aragon 8008X3 amp is caput. I have checked around and can no longer get parts or service.
I have replacement cost insurance, but it's difficult to value some items... -
Okay now that I've had them a little while I think I can comment on these speakers. I love them and can not see myself going back to box speakers again unless they are exotic's etc. What the Maggies excel at is vocals, acoustic instruments and just about anything that gives you the illusion of "air"... -
