    Needs opinion

I have a MonsterPower HTS3600. I just want to ask if it's a good idea to plug in my SVS 20-39PCi powered subwoofer. If it is, where do I plug it in? It's plugged in directly to the wall right now. Thanks guys.

After looking at the specs of the HTS 3600, it appears to only have filtering and surge protection. In other words no current limiting items. Go ahead and plug the sub in to it and see if you can hear any differences. It does have a current draw and available current displays so you should be able to see if you are close to maxing out the circuit.

      Any worries/problems using cheater plug?
      by Orange Peel
When I get my RMB 1095 I want to have it working right immediately, so I will buy a cheater plug before I get the amp, just in case I have the hum people get with this amp. If I use the cheater plug and plug it into the wall socket, what risks do I run doing this? Is it more prone to surging/blowing...

Plug 1095 straight into wall or in Monster?
      by NHT
I have a Monster HTS5100 on the way and I just wanted to prepare for the hookup before it gets here. Ive heard from many resources that amps should always be plugged straight into the wall but is the Monster 5100 able to handle the hight current of the 1095? I would really much rather plug it into...

      Phase Plug

It is typically a cylindrical or conical-shaped object made of materials like plastic, metal, or wood. The phase plug's design may vary depending on the specific driver and its intended application. Its primary purpose is to improve the driver's performance by addressing issues related to phase cancellation and dispersion. The function of the...

what kind of speaker plug should I use? (kinda B&W related :)

      Hi,

In one of my previous posts I mentioned that I moved in with my girlfriend, until my house has become a reality (in a year or two).
My 802s can fit in the bedroom, but there is no place to put the amplifier near the speakers, the only free place has a door in between the amp...

Do you plug your Amp into the line conditioner?
      by titan7
I just picked up a MC HTS 3500MKII, It has 2 high current outlets with a delay. I keep the AMP power button on and power up with the on button on the 3500. I figure it's protected and filtered. I have the CD and tuner plugged in to the switched outlets on the Pre-amp and I plugged the pre-amp into...
