Greasing CD transport - what to use?

The belts finally came in for my Denon DCD-1560. While I had it disassembled, I cleaned up the old grease that was on some of the slides and tray drive gears.

It kind of looks like plain ol' white grease. Could it be so simple? Or is there a certain type of grease that would be best to use?

    Thanks,
    Todd
There are some things which are impossible to know, but it is impossible to know which things these are. :scratchhead:

White grease sounds like Lithium grease which I have seen on plastic and metal surfaces for lubrication.

Can anyone furnish me with information regarding Drive Belt & Tonearm belt sizes required for an Aiwa Steereo Turntable LX-70.

Also, belts/sizes needed for an Aiwa Cassette Deck SD-F660E.

Recommended sources for quality belts will be appreciated.

      Thanks...

Cable length between transport and DAC
      by Spearmint
I have a transport located away from my rack, I’m wondering if it’s better to have the DAC close to the transport and run 5 metre analogue RCA’s to the pre amp, or run 1x 5 metre digital from the transport to the DAC and using short analogue interconnects?

Do you ever see something on the web and right away, your first reaction is "I gotta have one, muy pronto!"

For whatever reasons, the new Denafrips Avatar CD transport struck that chord for me.

As an aside, how many of you knew that in 2019 vinyl outsold...
