Hello everyone, Not long ago i built a sonosub for a 12" Assassin. I hve since built 2 more 12" Assassin's in 18" sonotube. My problem is i can't find another 12" Assassin to go into a 16" sonosub 6.8cft volume with a 6" 23" long port tuned to 21hz i believe. so i have this empty sonosub sitting around and would like to get some ideas for another sub to put into it. Would like to keep it under 125$..........Any Ideas ?

As far as I'm concerned a poly cone driver with 9mm of Xmax, a 25.5Hz Fs, and 50 mm VC is a woofer not a subwoofer.

That takes care of that one then....If i use the db-500 i'll have to enlarge the cutout for the subwoofer..............I'll look at some more subs with the same cutout hole size.Comment

Hello to all, Its been awhile since my last post (12" Assassin Sonosub build) After my friend heard how well my Assassin sounded being only a 12" sub he now wants to build one for himself. I will be helping him with the knowledge that the kind HT Guide Members have passed on to me ;x( . Again... -
I just finished my sonosub and I am getting no bass, just strange sounds like a giant farting popcorn machine. Any ideas why?
